I know it's ESP blasphemy, but I have a double black set of Duncans (SH-5 Custom and PGn) that I have on stand-by in case I don't care for the EMG's.

Thats a really nice guitar. Is the neck significantly thinner than a regular LP?
As far as the emgs go, it very well may be your amp, I've emgs in my agile and they sound real thick and meaty. I'm sure the fact that I'm playing a downtuned guitar with heavy strings helps.

Blasphemy? No way. ESPs sound amazing with duncans. Put a JB in the neck of that sucker for destructive leads

I love ESPs. I don't currently own any, but I've got a few Edwards at home (made in the same factory) and they're fantastic guitars.

that looks really nice. I used to be a big ESP fan, but never got one of the guitars. I played one of the EC's w/ the JB and Jazz in it....sounded awesome.

Very nice, I used to have an Eclipse, shouldn't have gotten rid of it. They play and sound great with the EMGs, I'm sure a set of Duncans would sound good too. I'm jonesing for one of the vintage black ones now... They do have some models (colors) of Eclipses that come with a JB/59 set standard.

There's not, but I couldn't find anyone with the snow white in-stock. They were up to $1899 last year before ESP dropped the prices to compensate for the strong Yen = weak dollar, so even $1250 out-the-door (with an ESP hard case) seems like a decent deal.

Did yours come with the ESP case at that price?

Thats a great looking guitar, I would probably buy a ESP Eclipse if I was go buy a new guitar.
