I ran my twin reverb and ac30 in stereo at rehearsal and it was AWESOME.

I don't know if I can go back...

Re: i did it

i'll bet it was GLORIOUS.
did you have the ac30 set much dirtier than the twin or were you going for like the same tone on both? Any stereo FX?

Re: i did it

I was running the ac pretty juicy and then I ran the twin with a timmy in front for a little break up and set the volume a bit lower than the vox.

Boner city. I ran the reverb on just the twin and then added some delay here and there...

Re: i did it

Oh man, I bet that sounded amazing. The AC30 is one of my favorite clean amps, I'd imagine pairing it up with anything Fender and all-tube would be pretty killer.

Re: i did it

I'm on board with that combo for sure.

If you want to hear something beautiful, get a Strymon Lex Rotary pedal. Put it in the mode where the horn goes to one amp and the rotor goes to the other. It has a speed control, so you can ramp up and down with the Leslie sound.

I think it's my favorite pedal, and it's a great stereo signal splitter.

These are the amps I mix'n'match in stereo combinations.
Bogner XTC head/212
Matchless Chieftain 212 combo
Gibson GA-30RVS ....like a ballsier AC-30
74 blackfaced Fender Pro Reverb 212 combo. It's a holy grail....passed around the Aspen Pitman family, and landed in my hands.
