I don't care for red Strats either... sort of NGD

I saw CTN's thread the other day, and decided to share. This isn't technically a NGD. I picked it up last summer while on hiatus from the forum, but with all of the craziness around the house today was my first chance to take pictures. I generally don't care for red guitars, and I especially don't like Ferrari Red, but what can you do...

Charvel Model 1A, the serial number and headstock / neck plate markings date this one to 1987. Overall it's in pretty good shape for being ~27 years old. Sounds and plays great as well. It originally popped up on craigslist for $250 which is an amazing deal, but the seller agreed to knock another $100 off when I didn't want the pickups he was rather attached to. Luckily I had a SSL-2/SSL-2/SSL-6T set in my parts bin

No that looks ****ing rad! I love charvels and that colour compliments it well.

I like the way that looks. White pickups on black pick guard on red body and maple neck - really pop
