I stumbled into iSong CDs they are really cool. It is a learning tool. It runs the the notes like the sheet music on one line and the tab below it. On the bottom of the screen it shows the fretboard. It also has a window with someones hand on the fretboard playing.
You can choose the artist and voice or just a midi, you can slow it way down :cool3:, you can isolate riffs and loop them. It highlites each note like follow the bouncing ball.
It has six songs each CD. I started with the BB King version. The first night I was up til 2:00 am. I have very sore fingers and a big smile :dance: It will still take me forever but at least I am playing some riffs. The old guys fingers are stiff and stubby.
iSongs doesn't have many artists but they had the ones I wanted so I bought them up. I now have BB KIng, Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and HENDRIX!!!!!
They were bought out but you can still find them I found them at Sam Ash.
