It'd be like refinishing a Flamed Honey Burst '59 LP in Lake Placid Blue (Solid Colour .... Fender no less)

i could careless if it's a neck through or has a figured top. It's all scrated up! I said you could stick stickers on it meaning that you couldn't really mess it up anymore then it already is.

I'm guessing it was an act of insane rage or an angry girlfriend... I saw a nice LP the guy's ex scratched "F*** You" on the top. Maybe the guitar sucked so bad he did that! LOL JK! I like it, without the scratches that is! For half price I'd take it!

Whoa, same model as my Ibanez, but mine's Blue Flame w/bolt-on.

I would still get it, GREAT guitars, given the price is GREATLY reduced.

I honestly clicked on this expecting a guitar with some street glow and a body kit on it but I guess not... OUCH! I guess you could try to save it by wet-sanding it into a matte finish but those scratches look pretty deep.

i was gonna say, if it was a fender, it might be worth more now. i bet fender is watching this thread, and gonna come out with some kinda 'US Highway 1 Keyed Model' and have some marketing drivel about 'that feeling you get on the open road', combined with a deal to use genuine Escalade keys to scratch it, and they will sell millions.

Am I the only one who's surprised he got 500 bucks for it? Those pictures made my eyes hurt. I would expect fifty bucks or something for a guitar THAT mangled.

Incidentally, if anyone is interested, I'm selling THIS beauty for only 2,000 bucks. In "semi-used" condition. It's a fixer-upper! A project guitar!
