I cant say enough about the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop repair center. The online process was simple, they couldn't have been more informative and helpful. And the price was beyond fair.
About a year ago I received an old Allan Manship custom tele in a trade . My original intent was to fix it up play it some and then move it on. This guitar was made in the early 80's to vintage specs because Fender didn't really make guitars back then to early 50's specs. Allan Manship made them to order for those wanting reliable 50's style guitars when Custom shops didn't really exist. When I received it last year , the bridge pick up was still sounding great but the pick up was played so much that it was warped into a smiley face and the action was a mile high to be made playable and not hit the ends of the pick up:

It had a big Seymour Duncan logo and the label on the back said IR which meant it was built by Connie Roccha.

Here is how it looks now:

They kept all the original patina, the original label........it is a work of art. And it sounds......Fing incredible. Roy Buchanan would be proud.
o
Neck is still the original Seymour Duncan it was paired with 30 yrs ago. Not broken so I did not fix it!
This guitar is the best way to start off the new year!

Thank you SD for a truly professional rebuild that reaches artist levels of craftsmanship. The person who repaired the Pick up had the initials that looks like MF or MJ?
You can see it clearly on the Cover of the box it came in above. You certainly deserve my upmost thanks and appreciation for a job well done!
