I love my Custom/PG hybrid. It will work great in any darker sounding gitter. I really thought the ceramic would be too much with the PG coil but upon trying it I was pleased. Pretty awesome pickup actually. Clean like a PAF and enough output for heavier stuff. Awesome.

i've just made one out of a demon and a A2Pn, i want to try it but it's getting late here and i have to get up relatively early... the screw/slug one's finished and meters about 8.8K, the other one's going to need more work where the shielding around the bobbin was grounded at the (demon's) baseplate after i tried to fit the invader mags in it again hehehe

the plan is to put the dual-screwcoil A2Pn/demon in the bridge with A5 or ceramic and the screw/slug one in the neck, probably with some airbucking spacers from a DMZ and an A5 mag. i try most things in the LP first as it's easiest to fit them on, the DDn with an A5 mag is great in the bridge, it's like a less-hot and more articulate JB with a tighter low-end; it's making me think an 11ishK bridge HB ie S-deco could be something i'd really like.

i should really get married or find a card game or something.
