My schecter that i themed out in anime berserk graphics '' finished'' for a charvel mij spectrum in desert crackle, no neck pickup, rusty schaller tremolo, strap button wood damage, paint chips.

. I paid a good $600 for the schecter in a moment of dumbness. I know he paid less for the spectrum too. So money/work wise i am by far worse off but trade wise i feel awesome about it.

I will have to get a few things organized on the schecter but it shouldn't cost me any more then say $30

This


For a charvel like this, But with a humbucker modded/routed into the bridge position

Yeah i did a lot of work on the schecter but at the end of the day i know how much i love charvels especially ones with the thooth paste era logo. It would go well in my collection. My mate is a major berserk fan he has read every comic, I only did the graphic because i liked the artwork.

I have to do a headstock decal for it......so i might just go with the japan berserk text.

Here's to hoping he doesn't change his mind, I know his brother was telling him not to do it haha, But i did ask him twice and said that i was going to finish it for him...................so i just photoshopped and printed/glued on the headstock logo and graphic.

Here is an update haha.

I now make my own cotton fabric/paper that can run through any inkjet printer, I can make it wide format too so its really great for my projects and business. So i just designed this and ran it through my home printer but for other high quality stuff i take it to a print shop and they run my paper i made through there machine. Neat huh?

yeah i am onto it man i have almost got the neck ready, then i just need to buy a few parts and get it going and it should be ready.

Does all my hard work mean nothing to you guys?? ha oh yes if i counted the money and time i spent i would be way worse off but seriously, desert crackle, reverse headstock, pb bass style pickguard goodness all on a mij charvel.......Weeeeeeeeeehooooo

Schecter headstock is looking rad. I went for the jap script surrounded by more comics. He wont be able to resist it.

bro, i think this Charvel's neck heel joint sucks. I cannot touch any of the classic bolt ons if i am to play past the 15th fret.
But when the guitar is a shredder, then you have to play beyond the 15th right? Its a contradiction. Its so 80s. OTOH the Schecter seems character-less. Tough one.
From a collector's perspective, the Charvel wins by the 1000s. From a players's perspective ?

Schecter used to be grand when it resembled Tom Anderson back in mid 90s. Now it's a piece of dung with the advent of the new metal and 7-string oriented designs. Go for the Charvel. That one looks like an Elliott Easton model by the way.

Eh? Man That era charvel have the cutaway around the neck plate. The access is great on them.
