I just cut through some windings -quick pics/help

hi- I was removing the wax from this old Epi pickup and sliced a piece of ribbon off by mistake, and what looks like one or two layers of windings... is this pickup still viable? Should I press the ribbon and broken windings back in? or remove the slice, and tape over? (or toss the pickup in the garbage)

FUBARed. It won't work without a rewind.

Looks like you're trying to cut through it. Bad idea. Use a small flat head screwdriver and pry a little bit off at a time.

yeah its from this EPi Paul that I put another old layin around DDesigned HB102 'Distortion' clone into, but decided I wanted to put back the Epi again (indeed Ceramic is not my thing). When I get the Gibson of my dreams I'll just throw a JB in there of course :banana: Gotta use the HB102 and EpiPaul for now
