Well, I was trying to sell my Les Paul Standard. Eventually it did sell so just out of interest I went to some of my local dealers.
I ended up with a 2007 Gibson Custom shop Les Paul Custom, Cherry burst. I walked out the door with it for $2400. Well, the owner of the store is letting me pay him back over the next few months. It is a terrific guitar. I think that it is a pretty good deal as well. Comes with custom case, all paperwork and is brand new (I guess NOS since it's a 2007 )

yes. on this one everything is going to stay stock. the figure on teh top is gorgeous. even the figuring on the back is awesome!

Nice. Is she heavy, light, or just right?

I love customs that have a red (in this case cherry) finish but I've heard that the red can bleed into the binding over time.

She is real heavy - probably 10 pounds or so. It's ok though, I'm a big boy I am not really fond of light guitars. It's just a little heavier than my Superhawk.
