I just ordered an Eminence Cannabis Rex for my Laney combo

I'm pretty excited to be dropping my favorite speaker in what is becoming one of my favorite amps I've ever owned. It's going in my Laney Cub 12. I hope I get the speaker delivered in time to break it in with my new Warmoth that should be here any day as well. It's going to be a great week or two coming up!

I love mine! I accidentally have mine in a Laney combo but I use my other two amps through it.

I use Legends and think they are pretty fantastic speakers but I have not compared them to many others . I picked up a set of EVH speakers and hated them. They sounded amazingly thin compared. I lost all low end grunt and my cleans sounds crappy.
Tell me more about these Cannabis Rex's

The Cannabis Rex has a cone made from hemp which is cool but structurally speaking it is very durable as well. As far as tone goes they have a smooth treble response that has more sparkle and less of a harsh bite from them. It is a classic American tone with big lows. They have a nice, balanced and even responsiveness that does not really add or take away from your tone. Also, they are rated at 101.8 dB making them slightly louder than some other speakers on the market. They are good, cool and affordable. Great speakers IMO.
