I kinda love this Gibson Hummingbird and I kinda don't?

They took a hummingbird and kinda turned it down on the color spectrum so it's not a folksy mess. Or at least not so much of one. The wood grain and dark burst are great. And I like the tweaked pickguard colors too. But do they all work together or is it too much? I don't know. I'd love to see one in person.

I also have no clue who that guy endorsing it is.

I would love it without the red on on the pickguard...should have gone with white/gra/MOP inlay IMO.

That is my favorite bursts on Gibson Acoustics but the red in the pickguard just throws it off for me.

I think it's just the hummingbirds themselves I don't care for.

Leave it red but have it be an etching of like a dia de los muertos skull or something cooler

A little careful work with some paint and that pickguard is fixed.

Eric Church did an Austin City Limits recently... seems to be the latest Flavor of the Month from Nashville; I haven't heard any of his music, so far as I know.

hes been around for 10+ years. doesn't make him good or anything I wanna listen to.

I like the guitar and the birds don't bother me. if it sounded great and felt great, id play it
