i personally really like the new gibson LP, the only thing would be justifying spenidng that much on a les paul copy. Although gibson les pauls do in fact cost more than they are asking for the edwards so there might be some form of saving money there. I all for buying LP copies as i know they can be great, but i wuld onl be willing to spend a certain amount, somehting close to 2 grand isn't very appealing to me at all. Personally i would be willing to spend anything around a grand at most for a LP copy. The epiphone elitis custom LP is amazing, but i wouldnt agree with the price of 1500, which to me can't be justified for a copy.
