Capable of the following:

8+ channels with XLR inputs.

4+ headphone Outs with adjustable volumes on each(1/4th)

Reverb options on each channel.

built in compression maybe????

And it needs to be under $500.

I plan on using this to have band practice with use of isolation headphones, so PA and hurting ears arent needed, + making live recordings.

So anyone got any ideas?

Look for some mackie stuff. It's high quality and works beautifully.

Re: I need a mixer.

yeah, after I get that settled, we might just run pods into the mixer, or put the amps in a closet...

Im looking for the best sound quality possible while we practice, I want to sound state of the EFFING art sound.

Then your going to have to spend state of the art EFFING money....

I don't know of any mixers having more than one headphone output under five bills but you can buy a seperate headphone mixer for a couple of bills, the Mackie CFX12 is a good mixer in the price range your looking for, I use a DFX12 it's got 8 xlr channels and two 1/4 stereo channels, very quiet and it was under $300. Good luck

Re: I need a mixer.

well, good enough mixing and micing and room setup can sound better than average. I just wanna be able to hear everything.

A seperate headphone mixer you say.. hmm..
