I need to choose the tone caps (and other things) for my Telly.

Rewiring my Telly.
We have a Pearly Gates for the bridge installed in the neck.
Not sure about single coil/humbucker in the bridge.
Anyway. I'm buying all the pieces.
3 are the questions.
1) I need 4 CTS Audio taper, should I get 2x500 (PG vol+tone) and 2x250 (vol+tone for the single coil in the bridge, or 2x500 in case it will be a humbucker), there's no difference between volume pots and tone pots, right?
2) solid and split shaft. Can I use the splitones without splitting? Just in case one day in the future I'll dare trying the splitting?!
3) Which caps are best for a PG born in the bridge but adopted by the neck?! 0.022 @100v ?
0.033 @100v ?
0.047 @100v ?
0.1@100v ?
And what's best for a single coil in the bridge? Any kind. I know nothing about it. UH.:help:

SD makes both the PG for Tele bridge and the BG1400 custom shop models that were designed for BFG.

I'd say start there. :)

There's no difference between volume and tone pots, correct.
You'll want to buy the pots after you decide on the bridge.
And yes, you want 500K for the neck bucker.
Is this a 4 x pot Tele?
If not, you might want to consider stacked/concentric pots for less clutter.

2) solid and split shaft. Can I use the splitones without splitting? Just in case one day in the future I'll dare trying the splitting?!
Not sure what you mean here. Split-shaft merely means that you can use push-on type knobs.
Solid shaft require retaining screw type knobs.

The voltage doesn't factor in, except for the physical size of the cap being smaller as the voltage goes down.
I'd say start with a .15 cap and go from there.

If you go true single coil and not stacked I'd consider a .047, depending on how hot the pickup was I'd try a .022.
If it's a stacked/humbucker I'd start with a .022.
And my preference is for PIO (paper-in-oil) caps.
