So should I leave the sh4 jb in my MIM strat I had it with the hod rod set sh4 sh2n set not being used, I do have a Diamondback fender trembucker, but I removed the in 2007 and put a tb4 in it instead, massive improvement, got to love SD pickups, s, I could buy a TB4 but would I really notice much difference ?

Nowhere near the improvement to justify the purchase. The e-strings would both be more pronounced and stronger, but I think mine in my strat sounds great!

1+ to Luke Duke's statement. Unless your E strings sound weak to you, don't bother. Personally I have never done the F space/trembucker thing. With Fender's more radiused neck I've found the E strings to be fine with Gibson spaced pickups.

My thought is there are some bridges that a trembucker is needed on with an unusually wide string spread. In short, if that is the case, you will know by the sound. I have experienced that and if it is bad enough to need replacing, it isn't subtle. I have needed to replace a pickup in that situation, but the fact also is that if it is used pickup for used pickup you can usually swap with next to no cash lost.

Yup, if you don't have a volume loss over either of the E strings, you're fine.
