That reminds me, I wonder how many folks know they don't make 1.3Ghz, 1.4Ghz, 2Ghz, etc, processors. They make one version, and test it. 1.3's are simply 2's that "failed". (A slight oversimplification, I know, but thats the crux of it.)

Yup, I learned that in a hardware class in university. It is the basis for overclocking.

Ide rather buy the new one from that dude for $65. and rip my old 85 apart. It has an old lespaul board hog glued to it so it has mounting tabs. It also doesnt have the detachable plug.

If we knew what was in there we could probobly reverse engineer the electronics part. Thats what i was going for.
