well, in my blackout, it has a 59 in the bridge, and a PG in the neck. At first the whole backwardsness of that was reasonable, but now its really starting to bug me. I have THE rythm pup in the lead position, and THE lead pup in the rythm position. Anyhoo, if i switched these 2 (yeah, put the bridge 59 in the neck) would there be any bad consequences tonally, since they were made for the position they're in right now?

You will have to play with the heights a bit to get them to balance. Since they are both PAF type pickups, I don't think there should be much of a problem. Remember, in the 50's, there were no calibrated sets.

There should not be any problems. You have to try it to hear what it sounds like. If your PG is a neck position, Black or zebra, and standard spaced I will trade you for a Black, standard spaced, PG bridge model.

its black, and it came stock on the blackout, so im not sure if its single spaced or not. I'd be more willing to trade for a 59, but i'll mess around with it & see how it works out. If i can get the 59 sounding good in the neck then i may consider trading
