I think I killed my amp...

So today I switched on my amp, it's a Marshall AVT150 combo I've had for years, plugged in and played for a good hour. I switched it off and came back to it a few minutes later. I guess I didn't hit the power switch on all the way, so it turns off and I switched it back on and... nothing. The power light is on, but nothing is running. The fan doesn't work, no sound from the speaker, it doesn't switch channels. I just get faint lights from the DFX switches on the footswitch. I'm praying it's an easily fixable problem but with my luck I'm probably gonna need another amp. Anyone know enough about hybrid amps to weigh in before I start saving for a new amp?

EDIT: I'm almost certain it's not the preamp tube as I replaced it with a GT 12AX7-R about a year ago.

That I haven't checked. I'm probably not gonna get around to opening it and check until tomorrow since I'm not at home right now.

InbredJunk - just checked the fuse, it's still good. I'm baffled as to what it is. Anybody else with amp maintenance experience want to chime in?

Re: I think I killed my amp...

How did the rest of the board look? Any crispy looking resistors, bulged or oozing caps? Power transformer look like it got too hot?

Re: I think I killed my amp...

Everything looked normal on the boards, transformer looked fine to me. It's just confusing. I'll post pics later this week of the inside, maybe that'll give some insight to some experts.

Re: I think I killed my amp...

Switch broken internally? Fried resistor(s) on the board? Easy to spot and cheap to replace. Transformer is another story though.

El Supremo - that's what my dad was thinking. I really love the tones and dynamics of this amp. It's a very underrated beast. If th amp is truly dead, maybe it's time to start saving for a Blackstar 2x12 60W tube combo or ID260... hmm :-D

Re: I think I killed my amp...

Check the case that holds the fuse too, i had one explode before just replaced it was simple.

Re: I think I killed my amp...

The fuse is on the inside, it was only a visual inspection. I don't have any tools to check to see if it's actually working or not.

Re: I think I killed my amp...

Replacing the fuse with a new one is the same as testing it.
A cheap meter from Harbor freight can come in very handy for A Lot of amp stuff. Like checking a fuse.
As mentioned above...lacking a simple meter...install a new fuse to be sure.
