my sister was given by a friend of hers a real nice peavey delta blues 15 amp, but someone had taken the 15 out and gave her the amp it works great ive hook it up to my bass cab just to see if it work its grart shape. what would be a good 15in speaker to put in this amp. she plays chet adkins type stuff and sort of rockabilly and blues mostly clean. do you guys have any suggestions she likes to get loud some times this is a 30 watt loud amp. again a thank you, buy the way on my last question jazz clean i ended up using a fender jazzking.

The DB is a good li'l amp. Nice score for your sis.

yup nice score for free... but i bet a speaker will cost a fair bit

JBL D-130F or JBL D-140F

These are the 2 speakers that Fender used for the Showman's back in the early 60's. Now the Showman puts out a whole lot more power than 30 Watts, so these speakers should stay very very clean in a 30Watt amp. You could also use a Celestian 15"

Look at Weber.

The Neo15 is a lightweight JBL-soundalike, and would KILL in that amp, but it's kinda pricey. Ted makes several other 15's, and could give you some good advice, too.

The EV SRO15 was supposed to be a killer speaker, but they don't make them anymore. I have one just sitting here I would let go for $40. /shameless plug
