I want a Budda !!

Well after hearing some ound clips of the SD series I've decided I WANT ONE !!! Unfortunately for me, I can never be drawn to reasonbly priced gear. $3500 for a new SD80? Depressing :banghead: Anyway, they appear to be fantastic amps giving that thick Plexi-esque tone with more bottom end and a little somethin-somethin under the hood, yum :32:

budda are great amps. i see them alot in virginia and maryland, i bet you could find a cheaper used one down there

There was a forum member thinking of selling his SD80 awhile back, because it was too loud for his situation. Maximus? Maybe you could give him an offer.
I'd love to have an SD30 head

I played the 18W head once and fell in love with it!
I really like Budda amps, and not just b/c their motto is " A TONE ODYSSEY"

Actually, I heard the current one in the clips section where you guys are trading off. But the one I like best is gone now. My hard drive crashed and when I went to get that clip again it was gone. It's the Michael McDonald tune "I keep forgetting we're not in love anymore..." do you still have that one?

Yea but as cool as the Powerball is, I'm just not the metalhead I once was. I'm getting away from ESP's, EMG's, and modern high gain amps in favor of Gibsons, Duncans, and hot rodded vintage voiced amps (Budda, THD Plexi, Orange AD, Marshall, etc.)

I'd like to sell off my Powerball, Z5 footswitch, and Genz-Benz GFlex 2x12 (all about new) in favor of a Budda to go with my Avatar 4x12 (two V30's and two G12H30's)
