My grandfather met Patton. Patton picked him up in his jeep in North Africa after my grandfather's platoon had been wiped out. Absolutely True story, swear to God.

that was one of my dad's favorite movies - it really is quite well done .. he even owned the soundtrack on vinyl ... the speech you quoted goes on for quite a while ... my brother and i had it memorized and could imitate george c scott's performance

I used to watch "Patton" every year over the 4th of July weekend. Unfortunately, my wife doesn't enjoy war movies so I have to find three hours when I can enjoy it by myself!

Patton either would have loved your clip or told you to "Go to Hell!" Don't know which
