I am selling my 1981 Ibanez Artist. Guitar is all original electronics wise but has been recently refretted with 6105 size fretwire. Guitar has a mahogany body with what looks like a set maple neck, a rosewood board with the previously mentioned new frets. The neck profile is on the thinner side like a 60's Gibson profile. Pickups and pots have never been changed (as far as know) and guitar seems to be all original.Hardware is a a bit tarnished/worn but nothing extreme.Case is in good shape for its age and all latches work. The guitar plays and sounds great although the pickups are micro phonic. Looking to get $850.00 shipped. this is a great era for Japanese guitars.
