Ibanez AZ Seymour Duncan Alnico-5 Hyperion vs Custom 5 (TB14)

Anyone had the chance to try and compare the Hyperion pickups that come in the Ibanez AZ series to a Custom 5?

I don't know the output of the Hyperion PUs but both are Alnico-5 based so I am hoping they'd be similar. The Custom 5 is my all-time favorite PU so if the Hyperions are similar I may take a chance and order an Ibanez AZ.

I hope everyone is doing well!! It has been ages since I posted.

I have an AZ. It has a Suhr Aldrich in it now. I preferred the custom 5 (in a LP though). The Hyperion with A8 wasn't bad but A5 was ball-less. Very clear though
