None of my existing guitars are equipped with active pickups. I am quite attracted by Ibanez RGA 72TQMZ (new model, 2011) and decided to buy it sooner or later. One particular feature I like about this guitar is its set-in construction having mahogany body with maple arched top which sounds very LP-ish yet still a super strat, unlike the ESP's neck-through or set-through (constructions I am not so fond of) super strats having the same wood combo with active EMGs. It also has the new Edge Zero II bridge, which is an up-gradation from the preceding model with Edge III bridge. However, I am not 100% alright with its stock CAP-LZ20 and CAP-LZ10 active pickup pairings as they seem to sound more mid-rangey and sterile than the 81 and 85, hence reserved them for future swap out. To have further in-depth information, I request someone to bear the toil to compare the two pickup pairings with respect to the given parameters:
1. FREQUENCIES (Low, Mid, High)
2. VALUES OF POTS USED TO ROLL OFF THE HIGHS (25K Ohms for EMGs, I suppose)
3. INDIVIDUAL OUTPUT STRENGTH OF THE PICKUPS
