Ibanez delay pedal - how do I use the "dry" output?

I just got an old Ibanez DL-10 delay pedal, no manual. It has an output jack and a "dry" output jack. I think the dry output is for getting an un-delayed signal -- but can you run both outputs together so that you can have an un-delayed signal AND the delay going at the same time? How do you set that up, or do I have to have two amps? I don't wanna blow the thing up, I just got it....... :fingersx:

It's for running it in stereo, with two amps.

that make sense. i have a ibanez chorus from the same era and it has a stereo output that requires a 2nd amp. no biggie -- i'm really pleased with this delay pedal anyway. it was a good deal too. :smokin:

It's often nice to run a "dry" signal to one amp for a solid up front tone and a "wet" signalto another amp for some ambience. Generally not quite at the same level. That way you can maintain a righteous tone, and get some effect, without turning it into a syrupy sugary mess. The right/left separation is a sonically cool effect in itself.

The signal is often inverted, clean and effect in one side and clean only in the other, it is the same signal, not stereo but a cool ambient thing for sure.
