Ibanez grg131dx-bkf duncan upgrade ideas and questions

Got this guitar less then a year ago. Upgraded to a graftech nut, sanded and perfected the edge of the the fretboard. I run skinny top and heavy bottom strings on this one. Started with eb rps but then tried d addario later and found I like them better even if they seem weaker and don't last as long. The inside has be re wired countless times and had a couple different Chinese cloned invaders but I must say the other ones that were all red were my favorite of the 2 I tried. These zebra ones just don't have the umph. This leads me to my newest idea. Buying a set of Duncan's for the ibanez! I've looked and done some reading and watched some videos and I'm definitely going with duncan and I think I have it narrowed down to a few or so.
I already own a tb6 and its in my jackson dinky hss. I would happily just get another for the ibanez and call it a day but I truly enjoyed the tones from the jb bridge. I was thinking.

Jazz neck
Jb bridge or sh6

Or

Jb or jazz neck
Sh6 bridge

Ooooooorrr "from what I hear I'm not sure i like the tones"

Just go all out invader set

I really do enjoy the fullnes from the jb bridge I heard clips of in comparison to the sh6. The sh6 sounded like it had less mids is all and the jb sounded great. Maybe I should just stop typing and get that already lol. I just wanted to ask around what would be best to go with my setup. This guitar is not my favorite or most used but I now feel it deserves the upgrade. The jackson is my favorite...

Ibanez grg131dx-bkf
d addario 10-52
standard tuning or drop tuning but mainly drop tuning on this guitar
Fender lt25 "just got it and love it"
literally practice only scales some days but I also play metallica and others in that genre. Nothing else but metal and scales at the moment. I would love to learn more but time is limited and I don't have a teacher.

the pictures are just to show what I have exactly. I did the leds for fun only. I do not use them and the batteries have never needed changing yet.

thanks for reading and or commenting

I like the JB better than the Invader. Could also do the Mayhem set which is a Distortion bridge and neck or if you want something a bit more modern, look at the Black Winter, they kinda like a modern version of the Distortion.

With the JB, Jazz would work, its bright, glassy tone, the 59 also pairs well with the JB. JB and 59 is in my LTD, and have a Distortion in my Iceman.

Thanks for the information. I haven't thought much about the black winter but I have looked at them. They may be the thing I'm looking for if I decide to stick to straight distortion and drop tuning. It kinda makes sense.

The JB & Jazz is a popular set for a reason...it is the sound of hard rock, and even some metal. Invaders will have more power, but also a lot more mids. You have to *really* like or need mid frequencies, as you will have a lot.
A Jazz bridge will be very bright, which is great if you have a mid-heavy guitar.
The Black Winter set is great for more than just distorted playing, but it does handle low tunings and massive distortion really well.

I always thought the invaders and the hexbucker style pickups "looked" the coolest lol. I was trying to stay away from invaders because I heard they can be bass heavy. When I get the cash to spend I'll have to put some serious thought into it. It's an Ibanez gio bit it doesn't say gio on the headstock. It feels pretty heavy and solid. Pretty sure it's a poplar body with a maple neck and purple heart fretboard. I'm probably gonna end up leaning towards the sh6 because I already know I like it but hearing a jb demo vs the sh6 makes me really want a jb bridge. The neck I was just gonna go jazz because i know it will at least sound good. Someone else mentioned the black winters and I liked them too but after a while there's just to many to choose from. The all black hex style black winters look awesome and would look great in my Ibanez but I'm really trying to just do my homework I guess. I dont know anyone in person to ask anything about guitars so you guys are my only source of conversation.

Yes, Invaders are mid/bass heavy, but some guitars (and some music) might need that. It really depends on the sound you are getting now, and what you don't like about it.

I'm learning my amp isn't the greatest metal amp. Fender lt25. I have found tho that higher output pickups break up better for distortion and the amp seems bass heavy as well.
