Hi, need some help to find the right wiring diagram. I’ve chosen the JB (Bridge), Custom Stack Plus (Middle) and Jazz (Neck) for my Ibanez Prestige SV5470a. I’m no shredder but the guitar plays like butter and I’m trying to get a less agressive sound the stock pu’s are giving me now.
Here’s the question: I’ll use the coil split function with my volume pot. There is 1 tone and a 5-way switch. When I fill in the wiring diagram tool I can choose HB for neck and bridge but for middle I can choose either “single” or “ single sized humbucker” and it comes up with a wiring diagram (coil split) for 3 humbuckers... So does the Custom Stack Plus has 3 or 4 wires and should I connect it just as it is a “true” humbucker? Or do I need a diagram with the Custom Stack being a single coil?
