I'm wiring 2 Ibanez humbuckers to a Les Paul 3 way. They each have a red, white and bare. The reds read higher on my multimeter than the whites(the bridge red is around 16k, the bridge white around 8k). Would the red and white from each bucker go to the toggle or just the red from each? Thanks.

Use just the red wire from each pickup, solder the bare wire to ground, and tape the white wire off.
The red and bare gives you a full series humbucker
The white and bare gives you a split pickup that is not humcancelling
