Another weight trimming option for your consideration: Gotoh Stealth Tuners. Only 0.42 ounces per tuning key. So a set of six weights just over 2.3 ounces, whereas (for comparison purposes) a set of typical Grovers weighs over 9 oz. That's over 6 oz of weight reduction potential.

I used a set of these to replace Grovers on a Dean Icon guitar because it wasn't well balanced on its weight distribution and so it had a bit of a neck issue. One downside from my experience is that when tuning a string, you need to perform more turns of the key vs a normal design tuning key - i assume that is due to the shaft diameter being so small.
Another downside: costly - last time i looked (summer 2017), they were about $120.
