I just got the guitar used and was looking for a different tone than my other guitars, which are mostly with single coils or Paf copies. I would love it to have sort of a fusion kind of sound, but versatile enough for metal or clean playing. With the Ibanez, I'm hoping the pickups will bring more presence and tightness to the sound, while retaining the singing quality of those guitars.
Currently i'm thinking of one of these:
1) Black Winters set
2) Dimarzio Titan set
I'm hoping to get more suggestions here as well, particularly those who have good experience with a Floyd equipped basswood guitars. Thank you;l
