I'm gonna buy a Micro Dark and I need a boost to complement my minimalist rhythm setup: Tuner, boost, noise gate and the Micro Dark into 2x12. I'm leaning towards the spark since a clean boost is all I need really combined with the minimalist tone shaping options of the Micro Dark. Unless you guys say the TS is gonna give me valuable options.

Why don't you try something close in a modelling setup and see what suits you best. I have seen nice results with both TS and overdrive. Never try with clean boost.

Catalinbread Naga Viper. Used it with my Tiny Terror and OR15, sounds great. It's good for clean amps too.

Go with the full size TC Spark Booster , you can find them for around $60-70 used and $99 new. You`ve got the full eq (minus a mids pot) and 3 way toggle for either fat,clean or mid boost

I second this. I've never personally used one but in every demo I've seen, I've fallen in love with the tone it gives

the mini spark is a clean boost, the TS Mini is an actual overdrive...

What about a Mojomojo? You can get them new for $49, nice overdrive and almost clean boost with the gain low and the output high.
