What was it about the HW TS808 that you didn't like or forced you to sell it? Pretty intriqued with it and would love to see the insides of one! I built a TS808/9 from scratch(all handwired,true bypass etc.) for the other guitarist in our band...Just a great sounding pedal...Better than my stock re-issue TS 808...

The HW808's are pretty neat...no PCB at all, little terminal strips and some really good parts...however a lot of guys want them to be more like a hot rodded TS pedal with less mods, more bass and more gain.

I figure if you want that then you shouldn't be lookin at a Tubescreamer...let it be what it is!, ya know???

I think this is a great pedal for sure...but I'm still yet to find something that I like more than my vintage MIJ SD1
