I'd like to ask a question without buckets of derision being rained down upon me

Vox has a great derision emulation on their new modeling amps. .

Emulation can be pretty good, but it will never match the punch and clarity of a vintage USA-made bucket full of all tube derision.

:reporter:The tinnitus will take longer with only 1/8th of a full stack on 9, 85 watts short with a tube driver boost. Don't you want to be EJ'd sooner rather than later?

I think it will sound pretty great.
Nice amp + speaker with incredible specs=sweet

Even though I have "money to burn" (or at least I'm perceived that way - a true first for me), I've decided against that route for at least two reasons.

I haven't seen many reviews of the EJ, especially compared to other speakers, and it looks big. Not sure it would fit in the BJ's tiny box.

There are lots of good speakers out there. In that department, our cup overfloweth.
