Hi guys !
I've got a Les Paul Classic with a Slash set, traditional weight relief (9 hole, swiss cheese, weight 8.8 lbs though) which I like a lot, no problem at all.
Still, I'd like down the road to get another Les Paul and a pretty different one if possible.
I'm actually looking for the kinda controversial 2008 Les Paul model, the totally chambered one, to remove a lot of mahogany and have the maple cap play a bigger influence on tone for having maybe a sharper and brighter kind of Les Paul....and well a lighter one as well !
Now in a guitar like this one, I know I'd remove the BB Pro quickly and go for a hot bridge pickup, Alnico V or Ceramic, for playing old school Metal and hard rock (although the other Les Paul is perfect for hard rock and classic rock to me).
I'm thinking obvious stuffs like JB or Custom.
But do you have any other idea for a chambered Les Paul that needs to be hot and driven under some gain !
