Identifying an OX4

I ordered a set of OX4 new from an authorized dealer but I have some concerns about legitimacy and I'm hoping someone here can help. I took some pictures of one of the pickups and it's got me concerned about its provenance.

We did have a case recently where someone got a bootleg set of Phat Cats from Thomann. It appeared someone ordered Phat Cats swapped out their old pickups in the box and returned them. The next guy was delivered the junk pickups that came out of a Harley Benton. Maybe someone swapped the covers and stickers and returned the pickups with their old ones. Just guessing and spitballing, we have seen it happen.

For future reference. I got in touch with the pickup maker and he verified that those pickups come without covers standard but that he made some with loose covers as a special order. So it seems all is legit. I just soldered up the covers and got them installed. Sound great.

Are those bobbins made of buthyrate? They could be exposed to heat while waxing?
