Identifying WCR humbucker

Hi guys,

I’m trying to identify a humbucker I have. I believe it is a WCR (Wagner) but can’t remember which one. I think it was a Darkburst though.

The problem is that I don’t have the identifying sticker and the pickup has no other identifying marks apart from blue marker pen down one side of the pickup’s back (not sure if this is significant).

Any tips on how I can verify the model and if it’s a genuine WCR?

Thanks!

Go to the Wagner site, it says - as i recall - you should sent the pups ore a pic.

Blue I believe means it is a neck pickup, red would be a bridge model. I do not believe the colors denote models just what position they go in.

That's right. If you get a resistance reading on the pickup and email Jim, he should be able to help you out.
