The first time I plugged into one, at revolutionguitar.com , Todd the owner said "don't forget to put on your athletic cup" That pretty much sums it up.
IMO, the Krank gives you the Dime tone right outta the box, no pedals. Kills Randall.

My friend and his dad (both guitarists) saw Dime and Ammot on this last tour.

They both said Chris had awesome tone that night, he was running through a JSX.

The Kranks that Mike and Dime were using both sounded sort of empty and ice-picky.

Plus, the whole bad rep thing throws me off. Check out the Harmony Central reviews.
