They come in cool colors. But I could never understand wanting a guitar without a neck pickup. But they did make a version with a neck pickup :D

A single coil at that ;)

i had one for a bit in black with no guard. cool guitar just not me.

as for no neck pickup, i have no real need for one. i have them in a few guitars but with my music style and playing style i don't often need one. just like 90% of the kick ass players of the 80s i go with the less is more let my fingers do the talking when it comes to the guitar itself.

I'd rock the blue one for sure. I'd toss the 500T into the ocean first though. Lately I've been diggin' the simple 1 pup guitars, and SG's too for some reason.

It would be fun to buy a cheap used SG and mod it. I wouldn't turn it into this exact guitar, but it's a start.

I'd rock the blue one. But I'd fill in the pickup route, refinish, and stick an Ant p-90 in there. Probably with a cream cover, just to give it some flava.

It needs a dog ear P-90.

anything but the yellow. i'd rock all of em out, except the yellow. the look isn't a problem i'd just put a phat cat in it
