Whats the worst that can happen? Death? I heard people in a band died once from aelectricution from a guitar!
Also, if its all passive electronics, can you still get shocked?
And if your guitar cable is in, is it still ok to fiddle with the electronics?

EDIT: The reason i ask this is because even tho my humbuckers are working with high output, im still getting a slight buzz from each, wondering if the wiring is A ok?

yes, if there is no better conductor to route current to ground, it will travel through the body trying to do so .. so death is a possibility

yes, you can still get shocked if it is all passive .. in fact, it might even be a slightly greater hazard because active stuff might have some sort of buffer

working on the guitar's electronics with a cable connecting the guitar to an amp that is turned on is similarly a bad idea

Fundamentally, there are only two wires that go to a guitar. If your amp has such a monumental malfunction that its putting deadly voltages out the jack, you're gonna get shocked.

To be safe, you unplug from the wall socket. Doing that, it doesn't matter if the guitar is plugged into the amp.

Edit: T4D beat me to it. To be safe, don't work on a guitar thats "plugged in".
