I'm FINALLY a member of the Seymour Brotherhood :D

Got my Epi 335 back today, compleye with '59 slapped into the bridge!!!!!!! :)

Soooo.... Major difference is the CLARITY. The stock Epi couldn't decide whether it was gonna be muddy or jangly, and often ended up being a horrible combo of both. The 59 sounds like the stock, only like it's had open heart surgery to remove all the cr@p that's been clogging up its arteries for 20 years. Still sounds a bit harsh at times, but I need to play with my amp's EQ; it's also very close to the strings, and the strings are new, so all those things will have to be tweaked. Anyway, VERY glad that I changed it, and I'm pretty sure I made the right choice out of all the pickups that are out there.

Thankyou everyone who contributed to the several threads I've been in about PAFs!!!!!!

Oh aye, and thankyou Seymour.... :D

The '59 set I have in my '335 copy is a beautiful thing... really, these pick-ups just sound soooo nice in hollow-bodies....

Glad you like 'em!

That's great, man. I'm glad you're liking it. You'll probably LOVE it once you get everything tweaked.
