I'm Interested in Your Opinion...thinking on a trade.

Well...if you peruse the Trading Post, you may have seen that I have a Carvin Holdsworth up for trade (has been for quite some time). My original goal was to turn it into a Les Paul with the appropriate cash, and thus placing this guitar in the hands of someone who will give it the attention it deserves (I think). Fast forward several months...not too much interest. I'm kinda surprised as this is really as nice an instrument as I've played. I just don't end up playing it, and that's a shame, so...that's where we stand.
Yesterday I got two attractive offers...I have no experience with either. I completely understand that without the instrument in hand there is only so much you can learn, but...I do respect opinions here and it is enlightening to me to read what you all think about stuff. If you feel like responding...thanks in advance.
I play fusion/jazz/ and non-trad. blues. Mostly through 6L6's clean to mod OD...sometimes a bit heavier but only sometimes.
Offers:
1-Edwards L98LTS 59n/JBb SB (cherry or honey...can't remember...doesn't matter really).
2-Ernie Ball Music Man Axis Super Sport hardtail/rosewood. Metallic Blue (not my favorite color, but...if it's a nice enough instrument...).

So...that's what's going on in my musical life...oh yeah...picked up an 83 Ibanez RS 1000 Birdseye w/ Super 58's for $200 yesterday! So...there's that little bit of coolness!

IMO, the Edwards is a nice Les Paul copy and an excellent host for American pickups. The EBMM is waaaay better than being "a nice enough instrument". So long as the neck profile suits your hands, the Axis SS should be a keeper.

That seems to be the thing for me...that EBMM neck...I need to get out and try one.
I really love what I'm hearing about the Edwards LP's from folks who own Gibson's and Edwards, and the 98 has a chunky-ish neck that I dig.
Thank you for offering your take; I appreciate that.
