im looking for a music program. help needed urgently!

i am trying to record an album but have found that i cannot mix more than one track at a time. which is most unfortunate!

please could someone tell me what softwair i could download that would let me (ideaely) be able to mix at least two tracks and let me play around with the dynamics etc of each one individualy...

im shure it is out there and im shure you are the guys to ask!

could any of you send me such a program via this forum?
