Currently, I'm not in a band. I'm looking for some sort of guitar recording program, synth, or backing track CD series to play along with. I'm looking to spend about $200 at most. When I was at my local shop trying out an Ibanez Joe Satriani 1000BP (which I bought 
), one of the salesman was showing my dad some sort of synth that you can hook up to a cabinet that can store tons of different backing tracks for you to play along with, Can anyone go more in depth with this type of method? It sounds interesting and right up my alley.
