In need of a Tele

i have saved up a quite good amount of money about 1200€(ca. 1600$) and since i fell in love with the Telecaster sound on albums of Wintersun and ensiferum i really would like to get a real good tele and for the guys here who know those bands: maybe some pickup recommendations? I'm sure you guys can help me find something. I just can't get the tone with humbuckers allthough i spend hours experimentating on my vetta II.

I'm a big fan of the Quarter Pound Tele pickup. They have a lot of output for a single coil and they retain that "punch, then sing" tone that Tele's have.
