I'm really diggin' this toon, & how it's cummin' out!

Added is: Bass & a synth type thing.
Also: there is just a temporary bass drum & snare stuck in there just to keep the groove groovin', but a whole drum track is being worked on now. (p.s. i'm feelin' a standard trash can drum sound in the bridge)

Disregard some of the small time issues. There being taken care of. This is just "step dos".

I still dig the clip. I would change the drum beat on the verse though. It kind of chops the beat and distracts from the tune. It's hard to describe what I'm hearing, but I'll try:

kick kick snare, kick (wait) snare

The snare is in the right spot. The bass drum just chops the flow on that part. On the chorus and bridge, it works perfectly as is. I totally like it. Just throwing a suggestion out.

vary nice! the synth is a nice touch, but the bass line really transformed it for me. Can't wait to hear the drumses!

Make drums better.....they need to be goin crazy at the bit where its alternating between the 5 and sharp 5 chord before goin back to the one

Dunno about the bass either.....real one would sound better methinks.

Thanx for the listens & comments, guys!

As I said, the drums in there are just temporary. I just threw those in before posting it to give it some drums. The Bass & the Synth patch are what I really worked on.
I'm working on the drums now & trying to really come up with a track that will do the tune justice.

Funny how important it is to check ur mixes on lots of different audio systems. When I got to work this mornin', i listened to the tune on my stereo & then, listened w/ my computer speakers. Amazing how inadequate in volume the Bass sounds. I didn't hear that at home.

I changed out the clip for a new one that hopefully addresses the bass problem a bit. I also cleaned up the frequencies of all the instruments.

Keep ignoring the drums & the fact that the gtr & vox rush the tempo in spots.

cool, u think? I'm kinda gettin' that feelin' too. But, I always seem to get that feelin' on every tune I work on.

I'm currently spinnin' my old break beat albums to get in the drum programmin' mood.
