Although they're both "hot" fuzzes, they're definitely different. The SB uses Germanium transistors, whereas the FD uses Silicon.

I never thought silicon could sound as good... It felt rather "artificial" on women but ... uh forget about it ok :naughty:

Nice... the picture wah is killer.

I sold off my Wizard Wah earlier this year, but I just ordered another one. Should be here next week! My Cornish SS-2 will be here Thursday as well. I'm stoked.

Hey folks,

Just a quick flashback... I received the SmallStone RI USA just before Xmas. And its definitely a great phaser. A tad different from the russian RI version, which is great too. The SS seems to have more depth than the MXR Phase 90, more "wooshy", but the USA RI is a tad more transparent than the Russian one. Both are great. But the russian uses cheaper components...

Great phaser, I keep it for sure.

To add some about the FuzzDrive, damn I can get any sound out of this box! Fuzz, Drive, Muff Fuzz.... very impressive!! I really like it!

nice...congrats, new gear is great!!! UPS is on it's way to my house with a sweet American telecaster hum/single in pewter...i can't wait to start modding it hehehe!! the duncans and new pickguard are in the mail and should be here by the end of the week....this is gonna be an evil tele when i'm done!!

Grats Thames on the new equipment.

I'm expecting a Laney VC-30 212 combo, a mighty might Fender strat rosewood neck replacement, set of grover tuners for the neck, and a SD wax potted JB humbucker with nickel cover that I ordered from Lew a little more than a week ago that I'm still waiting on. I'm pulling my hair out just waiting for this pickup.

I'll probably build a 2x12 guitar extension cab for my Laney VC-30. I have two Celestion G12T75's that I yanked out of a JCM 800 cab. I really don't like the sound of these very much, but they're just sitting around so why not heh.

I think adding a closed back 2x12 to this amp will really help. I tried one at the store... it lacked serious bass response and "enveloppe" (ok... cheap stock tubes I know)... but this amp has a great potential.
