So after 2 years i finaly found a double cut away semi to replace my old mij goya. Ironically its was built in the same factory as the goya and will cost the same amount. I do plan on doing a major overhaul to this beauty . Im debating on a clapton 335 inspired build or a freddie king es 355 build. Here is the old goya

now here is the the new one.

its gonna be a fun winter building the ultimate double cut lol.

Nice looking guitars. The strap button on the second one looks like an Ibanez style like on the Roadstar Strats.

I’m not sure exactly what you’re asking but I think the new one needs covered pickups just for aesthetic reasons.

Got it home . Sold the acoustic case ." It smelled like weed" changed the knobs to gold top hats .still need to find out how to get thos cigarette "joint " ashes off it . I dont think the pickups are stock and i got almost $50 off because of noisy pots lol.
