Inexpensive Mics for Electric and Acoustic

I've been recording from my Blackstar HT-5 line-out directly to a USB audio interface and it works great for the most part. I have a pretty nice cab though and sometimes would like to be able to mic the cab and record that way, plus I would like to be able to record my non-electric acoustic. Does anyone have any recommendations on decent inexpensive mics? I'm open to getting a couple of different mics if necessary but my budget is minimal...since I'm pretty much a basement noodler with (according to my wife) too much money invested in music equipment already. :)

Would really appreciate any thoughts!

SM57's are standards, but don't overlook the Sennheiser E609. Sounds great for live applications, and good in the studio. Plus you can hang it over the amp/cab so there's money saved on a stand that you can put towards a condenser for the acoustic.

I have used the Nady lower end stuff before, and it doesn't sound like my 57's, but it does sound pretty good on a budget.
