installation and general help/advice

hello, i own a schecter C-1 Elite and i would like to replace the stock pickups. My style of music is deftones-NIN-orgy-deadsy-nirvana-in flames- basically rock/metal. Right now i think the pickups i am looking to replace the original ones w/ are the seymour duncan JB (bridge) and alnico II (neck). Would this be a good choice for my style of music? if not what would u suggest.

I have absolutely no idea how to go about replacing pickups. are there any good websites that explain how. Is there anybody who knows about replacing pickups in a schecter and could maybe tell me how to do it? am i just plain out of luck? any additional information would be appreciated. thanx!

For pickup selection I would say a Distortion set. Kurt Cobain used a JB a lot. If you like his sound you could use the JB in the bridge and instead of an alnico bucker I would use a Jazz neck(more metal-ish IMO)

I will second the Distortion for the bridge. The Jazz would probably be a good neck pup, too.
